Wow!  It's been forever since I updated this. 

I'm down to the wire on finals.  I did turn in my Criminology one yesterday, but I'm STILL working on the one for College Comp 1.  Yes!  I hate that class and will like nothing better then to pass it and be done with it so I'm not shaking like this all the time.  As long as I pass this paper I pass the class, but it's the matter of actually passing the paper.  I swear writing a persusaive paper is harder then anything in the world.  Thank goodness my friend Kathy is awesome.  She's been proof-reading and helping me out with the outline. 

The house is slooooooowly getting done.  The kitchen floor is ripped up and the holes are patched on the ceiling, etc, but it's now taking forever.  I understand the guys who have been working on this have other jobs (ie....one of the guys is a fireman and does contracting part-time), but damn it...I don't know how much more I can take.  The roof is completely done though.  That's a good thing.  I'm hoping by the end of this week everything should be done.  I'll be making a website with before and after photos of the house. 

My teeth are almost done.  I have the temp crown and partial bridge done.  I won't get the real set until mid-January.  Now that just does NOT make me happy.  The temps are only held on by glue so they can pop off.  Yeah...that would just be loverly.  I can't eat anything hard or chewy.  No biting with the teeth.  Nothing.  I guess I'll live on oatmeal for a month.  I'm already sick of it.  ICK!  I can rip up a burger from McDonalds, but damn I don't want to live on that either. 

I guess that's all for now.  Gonna call the contractor and find out if they are even coming out today.

Apparently that ijit that made Team America thought that he had a hit on his hands.  The creators of "South Park" need to realize that their "hit" is over and done with.  It's such old news that nobody really cares what he puts out because it's going to bite.  Shark Tales took the #1 spot for the 3rd week.  I don't see Shark Tales being kicked out of 1st for a while.  I think it will be the "Finding Nemo" of the year.  Of course we are talking about Will Smith's voice.  ~Drool~

Well, tomorrow I start working out again.  I have to do something.  I can't sit with this weight on me and think that it's not going to effect my life.  It already is because I just feel tired all the time and I can't seem to function as much during the day.  I try, but it's hard to keep going.  I really need a nap in the afternoon, but I rarely take one.  It's affecting my well-being and I can't continue on this way.

I'd say that school is going good, but geez!  That would be a lie.  LOL!  I do love my Criminology class, but my College Comp 1 class blows.  I'll find a way to get through it, but it still blows.  LOL! 

Now that birthdays are over I can focus on Christmas.  It will probably be a small Christmas for us.  I wanted to give the kids a huge Christmas, but things have managed to get screwed up in the process.  Oh isn't THAT fun?!  That's okay though.  They don't need a lot and wants are just that....wants.  They can live without stuff. 

I guess it's time to "surpervise" AJ and the kitchen.  This weekend from hell needs to end NOW!

Well GEEZ!  I'm ready for this semester to be over.  LOL!  I love my Criminology professor, but may my College Comp 1 professor is hard core.  It's not that she's bad (far from it), but she's very strict in the way she wants things done.  Like my alternative assignment for missing seminar Monday....well, I missed half of the seminar....I'm to post a 150-200 word essay on the chat session, pick out three points in the chat session AND give my view for two of the points.  Okay.  No big deal, right?  Well...I have to post it to the board AND email it to her.  It's bunked!

Today Megan offically turned 11 years old.  That's really not fair.  She isn't a baby anymore, but turning into a full blown young lady.  Too bad the attitude still says brat.  LOL! 

If all works out right then come Monday I'll be getting the temp teeth.  I can't believe it's going to happen.  Hopefully.  Maybe.  That should help my self-esteem problems.

Off to study more.  UGH....

I had to change my schedule Thursday.  I just can't do classes so far apart from each other.  I had classes Mondays and Thursdays.  Now it's Mondays and Tuesdays.  That just helps so much.  I don't feel like I'm rushing as bad.  I did miss Tuesday night's seminar, but I made that up and did my "What I learned" paper.  I didn't think that I would do very good, but I got a 95 on it.  That totally shocked me.  I can't believe how much writing is involved this term.  It's been approved for next term so I'm taking Software Applications and Private Security. 

My baby is 4 today.  I can't believe it.  Where did the time go?!  I'm going to take them out for pizza tonight at Cici's Pizza and then home to have cake (Kira picked out a Barbie cake) and ice cream and open presents.  We are celebrating both girls birthdays today.  It just makes it easier.  I haven't decided how I'm going to embarass Megan on Thursday.  She goes to the circus with the school, but that's also her birthday.  She would just die if I embarassed her too.  LOL! 

Nothing new on the home front.  It's the same stuff over and over.  One thing though...the house work isn't getting done.  Long story and something I don't want to get into right now because I'm still peeved off about it.  I've gotten to the point that if it wasn't for the kids my life would REALLY suck. 

I guess it's almost pancake time for the kids.  Special breakfast and dinner for the girls.  They should like that.  :)

YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!  I'm ready to throw myself into something besides the kids, etc.  I have a serious feeling I'm not going to like my Criminology teacher though.  LOL!  She sounds like a hard a**.  Late work can be turned in, but you lose 2% each day it's late.  What kind of crap is that?!  Oh well, I'll get through it.  It's just the matter of buckling down and doing good.  I mean I did good last term so this one I should be better prepared.  Next term I'm taking Software Applications (sounds really boring) and Private Security.  I guess I did make my mind up.  LOL!

The work on the house has had to be postponed for a while.  I don't know how long, but I guess it's a good thing it's not going to be this week since it's supposed to rain all week.  It did turn colder though.  I still have the a/c on.  Damn hot flashes are going to kill me. 

Well..Charmed is on and then Desperate Housewives.  Wooohooo!

I got a B- in Intro to Criminal Justice and an A- in Human Dynamics.  OMG!  I'm so excited.  I have a solid 3.2 GPA and I couldn't be happier.  I wasn't bummed out about getting a C+ in Intro to CJ, but I wasn't too happy about it either.  I thought I worked my tail off.  Next semester starts October 4th and I have a dentist appointment that day.  ICK!  I might just have them do all my fillings then just to get it out of the way.  I just have to bring Kira with me so I don't want to be there too awfully long. 

Wow!  LJ changed a bit.  ~Shrug~

Watched the season premire of ER and BARF!  I'll watch this season and if it happens to go on another season I won't watch.  What a bore Thursday night was.  I did catch Lost on Wednesday night and that was pretty good.  Then again it has Dominic Monaghan from The Lord of the Rings fame.  That's just a must watch.  Thank goodness it's not on Tuesdays when Trading Spouses is on.  LOL!  That's the only reality show I will watch.

Make lemonade?  Nah, not me.  I just throw rotten tomatos back.  I have been called a self-centered b*tch for the very last time.  My life consists of either shutting my mouth and doing EVERYTHING or throwing a fit and trying to explain the meaning of family to everyone in this house.  Well, the kids understand the meaning of family and they are really good about looking after each other.  I'm so happy about that.  They are truly good kids.  Normal fighting, arguing kids, but good kids that watch each other's back.  Long story short...this isn't lasting too much longer.  What's done is done and I guess at some point I'll have a real life. 

I can't believe that Friday is the end of the semester.  It seems like just a week ago I was stressing out because school was starting.  Looks like I'm getting a C+ in Intro to Criminal Justice and maybe a B in Human Dynamics.  My papers have become better so that's something that should help my grade big time.  I have also made my decision about my emphasis.  I'm going into Private Security.  I can do White-Collar Crime and that really interests me. 

I can't think right now so I'll get back to posting again maybe later......

YAY!!!  Finals are just about over and then it's kick back for a few weeks before the next semester starts.  I was really hoping I'd get the same professor for my Criminology class, but that didn't happen.  :(  That makes me pretty upset because he's a rocking professor.  He makes class fun for all of us. 

I'm getting a free estimate on the roof on Monday.  That should be fun.  I really wanted metal roofing done, but I don't think I'm willing to pay 3 times as much money for a fad.  That's all it seems to be.  Not too good in Oklahoma hail weather either.  I'm looking at a lifetime roof.  More money at first, but over time it will help.  Not to mention our homeowners insurance would go down by $200 for 6 months.  I'm still looking at ceramic tiles for the kitchen instead of wood.  Ceramic is cheaper and if one tile breaks then just that one has to be replaced.  With wood you would have to pull up a lot more then just one of the pieces.

~Sigh~  I just can't believe how big the kids have gotten.

Patrick turned 9 on Sunday and we went to the zoo.  This was a better time for the kids because Kira didn't have a problem with pottying.  I think she was just a bit too antsy about going the first time.  She still won't use the big potty at the zoo, but she also wasn't drinking as much liquids.  I'm still amazed that she has done so good, but then again, I AM her mommy.

I am holding on for the last seminar on Wednesday night and then it's finals.  I am working on the final for Human Dynamics, but haven't started for Intro to Criminal Justice.  LOL!  I have to watch a prison movie.  I did ask point blank if I could use Shawshank for the review and he said yes, but I might have some troubles doing the 3-5 page that goes with the review.  BLEH!  I can do it and if not I'll just fluff my way through it.  LOL! 

I promise to be more active here with the updates.  I know that most times it's just basic fluff that I'm writing, but hopefully soon I will have some exciting news.  ;)

I never thought I would hate long weekends before, but they suck monkey spit. The kids have been surprisingly good, but that's only because I've pushed them to be good. Any added stress from them won't help me and certainly won't keep this house calm and quiet.  We did head to the park today.  A different one that is much cleaner and taken care of.  I was getting a bit tired of seeing glass at our park and worrying if the kids would fall into it.  I REALLY need out of this area.  That's all there is to it.  I do believe one day that all my dreams will come true and I'll be out of this area.  The kids and I will be safe from harm and loved.  We deserve much more then this. 

This term is just about over.  Talk about doing school and having the stress of that and life.  Hopefully it will all even out soon and I can go back to the normal happy person I am. 

The kids love school.  They were nervous the first day, but did really good.  I'm so proud of them.  I'm gushing.

Only four more days until the kids go to school.  Tomorrow night and Saturday night are movie nights.  Sunday morning will be the park and then I will spend the rest of the day getting them ready to go back to school.  I hope I can enjoy having the house quiet with just Kira and myself. 

My newest obsession....here.  The videos rock and so does the music.  I blare it whenever I'm alone in the van.  Which isn't too often anymore, but such is the life of a mom.  That's okay though.  Soon enough I will miss all of this when they are older and not want to be seen with mom. 

AJ is one week away from being 14 years old.  ~Cough~  I'm not ready for that.  Am I old enough to have a teenager?!?!  I guess I am.  LOL! 

Two more seminars and then it's finals weeks.  Yeah...from the 6th to the 24th is the finals.  I have one pretty big project to do for Criminal Justice and one "normal" size final for Human Dynamics.  I could probably do that one now, but I just don't feel like it.  LOL!  The laziness is setting in and I'm ready for this term to be OVER. 

Are all the good shows coming on Wednesdays?!  CSI: NY is coming on Wednesday and Lost on Wednesday.  Two different channels.  I just hope it's too different times.  I'm not looking forward to the beginning of ER.  Well, just to see how they write Elizabeth off.  After that, there really won't be a need to watch anymore.  Romano, Corday, Gallant and Kerry only one every once in a while.  Abby, Carter and Pratt can't hold my attention span.  I get too bored.  That's okay though.  My Criminology class is on the same night.  Nope!  I don't see me watching then. 

Well...when kids call...mom must run :)

It seems like I just started.  I can't hardly believe it.  It's going good.  I have two more seminars for both classes and then it's finals from September 6th-22nd.  I'll have to pace myself, but it might be easier since the kids will be back in school.  THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!  This has been one of the longest summers in history I think.  LOL!

Next semester I'm taking Criminology and College Comp 1.  I could use all the help writing as possible.  That just isn't my strongest area.  I do have to get ahold of my professor for Intro to Criminal Justice since I want to talk to him about my emphasis.  I was leaning towards Violence, but now I'm thinking White Collar crime (ie..Private Security).  I'd really like to get my foot in the door at Homeland Security, but I have a strong feeling I'm just going to be too old when I get back into the work field.  I guess it's just a wait and see. 

Kira now knows how to write her name, write mom and AJ.  Plus she knows her phone number.  That was such a shock when she came out to me and told me what her phone number was.  It's not fair.  It really isn't.  It seems like yesterday I was holding this very tiny baby in my arms and now it's hard to believe that she'll be 4 in October.  Who told her she could grow up?! 

I was totally bored at 5am and did a little redesign of my website.  It's not much right now, but I like the way it came out.  Of course I had to use two HTML programs because one just doesn't cut it.  Not what I want to do. 

I'm boycotting the Olympics.  I did see where our own Carly Patterson won and now Ms old bitty chick from Russia isn't happy about that.  I just gotta say "go blow it outta yer pie hole."  Same with the boos and hisses towards Hamm.  In the infamous words..."can't we all just get along??" 

Well...the brain ain't working right now and I have seminar in 1 1/2 hours.  UGH!  I don't want to read about Diversity.  Bring on the Stress Management.  LOL!
